After a lot of thought, I've made the difficult decision to shut down ACEGI.io.
We set out to build a better, more respectful way for people to connect online — a space where messages had meaning, where time and attention were valued, and where "DMs" didn't have to feel like a flood of noise.
But despite our best efforts, we couldn't find enough users to sustain the mission.
I'm incredibly proud of what we built — from the paywalled inbox and trusted sender system to the response-rate analytics and message escrow. Every line of code was written with care and purpose.
To everyone who signed up, gave feedback, or simply believed in the idea: thank you. You helped shape something truly thoughtful, even if it didn't last forever.
Sometimes the hardest part of building is knowing when to let go — but I'm walking away proud, grateful, and ready for what's next.
